We are located inside Algonquin Provincial Park, on Cache Lake, approximately 23.5 km from the West Gate entrance to Algonquin Park.

BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Located within Algonquin Park is Canada’s oldest girls camp—Camp Northway. Northway offers girls a traditional, nature-based camping experience that includes canoe-tripping, sailing, kayaking, arts & crafts, dramatics and a nature program. The in-camp staff to camper ratio is 1:3 and 1:1 on canoe trips.
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Theater, Fine Arts/Crafts, Swimming, Sailing, Team Sports, Adventure, Wilderness/Nature, and more. Canoeing, Kayaking, Canoe Tripping, Arts & Crafts, Nature Program.
CAMP LOCATION: Northway is located on a beautiful peninsula on Cache Lake, inside Algonquin Provincial Park, Ontario, Canada. Algonquin Park provides 3000 square miles of protected forest.
CAMP FACILITIES: Girls live in 1 of 17 large platform tents with their counsellors along the lakeshore. Waterfront activities take place in/on Cache Lake. Log-cabin library, craft house on hill overlooking lake, rustic theatre "lodge", lakeside screened dining hall.

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: There is a 10% discount for siblings.
OTHER CAMP INFO: Northway was founded with the idea that girls should learn how to live simply in the outdoors and that the absence of appliances and luxuries would give campers a wilderness experience which they might draw upon throughout their lives. We try to maintain the idea that in-camp life should be almost as simple as life on a canoe trip. In camp the spirit is much the same as it is out in the wilderness--one of willingness to help others, to befriend every other camper and to appreciate the beauty of nature.
